Breathwork encompasses various breathing exercises and techniques aimed at enhancing mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. During breathwork sessions, individuals intentionally alter their breathing patterns. Numerous forms of breathwork therapy exist, each involving conscious and systematic breathing practices. The benefits of breathwork include promoting deep relaxation, reducing stress, regulating emotions, and fostering an overall sense of well-being.

Mark recently obtained his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Tech University. He is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and holds an Associate License as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Additionally, he earned a Master of Business Administration from Emory University and a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising from Texas Tech. After a distinguished 30-year career in marketing, sales, and business strategy across the telecommunications and fashion retail sectors, he has now entered semi-retirement.
During his pursuit of the Clinical Mental Health degree, Mark explored the relationship between breathwork and mental health, particularly in the contexts of trauma and addiction. Over the past six years, he devoted himself to both fields, enhancing his understanding of the connection between breath and mental health management. Mark is trained in various breathing techniques, studied diverse breath programs, and received training in polyvagal theory, especially regarding trauma and the concept that “the body keeps the score.” Personal experiences, coupled with academic research/studies, led him to recognize breath as a vital tool for transforming one’s state of being and managing emotions, feelings, and cravings.
By taking his breathwork class, you will tap into this invaluable resource, unlocking new levels of emotional resilience and mental clarity. This journey with Mark promises not just learning, but a transformation that empowers you to harness the full potential of your breath for well-being and healing.
